NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector (Early Years Educator)

The course is fully accredited by CACHE UK, approved in UAE and recognised internationally. The Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Upon achievement of this qualification, learners may be able to work as Nursery Practitioners or Early Years Practitioners.

Entry Requirement
- Learners must be at least 19 years old.
- A relevant Level 2 qualification or transferable skills may help learners prepare for Level 3 study.
- Learners must also complete a practical work placement in an early years setting.

Course Content
- Learners can usually complete the qualification in 36 weeks .
- Recommended placement: 350 hours.
- The diploma prepares learners to work professionally with children from birth to five years, while also developing knowledge of children aged five to seven. It covers the role of the early years educator, holistic child development, special educational needs and disabilities, communication, safeguarding, health and safety, curriculum planning, assessment, learning through play and partnership working with families and other professionals. The course combines academic learning with practical assessment in a real early years setting.
